I also started to study Paulo Rego's series on ''Dog Woman'' . I initially thought they were paintings because of the marks and the over all look. However the fact that it is pastel does not diminish its effect or concept to me. When I was thinking of the phrase ''In my nakedness '' Paulo rego's paintings came into mind. I like the different textures in the area behind the bodies.
